Taliesin Vysoren
Taliesin Vysoren began life as an abandoned baby left at the golden gates of Central City's most illustrious Pleasure House, The Seven Pleasures. He was the second child abandoned into the care of the Seven Pleasures proprietors. A mountain of an Aasimar named Karlia and her Tiefling wife Euphemia.
The two named the boy Lucius Taliesin Vysoren and raised him as their own, a somewhat easy task considering Euphemia's own Tiefling heritage and Karlia’s stoic warmth. He was raised alongside his elder sister Cornelia, a purple skinned Drow. Together, the two had a rather lavish and easy upbringing in the halls of the Seven Pleasures, filled with love and happiness and access to the finer things life has to offer.
Despite its more sensual tone, The Seven Pleasures is far more than just a high class brothel. It plays host to live performances most nights, including burlesque shows, comedy routines, magic shows and live music. It also provides a host of other vices for its exclusive patrons to indulge in, such as gambling drinking stylists and even its own tattoo artist. There’s always something to relieve the stress of Central City’s elite. Its high walls separate it from the common rabble of the city, and enclose a lavishly well kept garden for those who prefer pleasures under the stars. And its themed suites provide fantastic privacy for those more elusive clients in need of a quite place to unwind.
It was in said lavish gardens that Taliesin found his best friend Gary, a lost Badger Kit who became separated from its mother. At least that’s the story Taliesin tells everyone. In actual fact, he traded a few hours of pleasure with a rather vile animal trader for the Kit.
The two quickly became inseparable, with Taliesin spending all his free time training Gary in various musical instruments, party tricks and useful commands. Taliesin and Gary share an unspoken bond, never too far from one another, and seemingly always on the same wave length. In their teenage years, Cornelia became enthralled by magic, quickly mastering basic spells that she used to entertain in evening shows. Taliesin however, became a natural in the art of pleasure and pain. Quickly becoming a star attraction of the Seven Pleasures and one of its most sought after companions. It was on these years that Taliesin earned the nickname “The Prince of Pleasure”. This naturally led to the indulgence of drugs and alcohol and his vibrant, expressive and carefree attitude.
After his sister Cornelia left to become an educated wizard, Taliesin began to desire more than to simply be an object of pleasure. He rarely ventured beyond the gates of his home unless it was as a Escort for the cities elite. Over time, the urge to venture out on his own became too much.
Euphemia Vysoren is described as the pinnacle of beauty and grace in Central City. The “Queen Mother” of the Seven Pleasures, her skin is red, and her hair is always changing colours. She dresses to impress, and is clearly where Taliesin got his dress sense. She is the head Madam and most experienced courtesan in the city. She runs the day to day of the Seven Pleasures, organising events, hiring new workers and tending to only the highest paying and hand picked clientele . She is a doting and caring mother, often smothering her children in affection and taking every opportunity to embarrass her beloved children. She, like her partner and daughter call Taliesin “Lucy” to embarrass him or Lucius in proper settings. Taliesin refers to Euphemia as “Mother”.
Karlia Vysoren is described as pale, over 7 foot tall, muscular, with long black hair and black tattoos across her arms. The polar opposite of her wife Euphemia (Or Euphy to Karlia). Her intimidating physique and gothic aesthetic make her a deeply sought after companion to certain individuals who prefer their companion to take the lead. She also acts as the head of security for the Seven Pleasures. Karlia doesn’t talk a lot about her early life, but she likely left her previous life in her early 20’s. Yet she is deeply respectful of her heritage and made sure to teach both of her children Celestial, both written and spoken, though Taliesin remembers little of the written language. She is incredibly protective of her family. Taliesin usually refers to her as “Mom”.
Cornelia Vysoren is described as tall, thin, prim and proper. She is incredibly intelligent and loves to tease her younger brother. She has purple hair, and pale pinkish skin. She often wears black dresses or expensive robes. Cornelia never entered the pleasure business like her mothers and brother, instead preferring to be an artistic performer, using her talents to put on magic shows. Taliesin refers to her as “Nelia”.
Sabrina Winters, or the “Princess of Pleasure", is the Seven Pleasures other star attraction and Taliesin’s ex-girlfriend. Pop singer and escort extraordinaire. The Ying to Taliesin’s Yang. An iconic duo in the ballrooms and quite spaces of the elite. She dazzles on stage with her seductive and vibrant musical numbers, and brings heights of pleasure in the bedroom that only Taliesin can match. A pink Tiefling, with long, bouncy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She is hyper aware of her beauty and raw sexual prowess and uses it like a master assassin with a blade.
Taliesin and Sabrina entered what would become a toxic relationship soon after she joined the Seven Pleasures. They fell deeply in love, but always struggled to treat each other properly. The only difference between work and cheating for and escort is payment, something Sabrina and Taliesin know very well. Using their bodies to make each other jealous. Their fights were loud, violent, involved a lot of throwing things and usually ended in sex. Sabrina is part of the reason Taliesin left, unable to take her constant drama and games any longer. Sabrina still deeply loves Taliesin and believes he will eventually come crawling back to her like he always used to. Any competition for Taliesin’s affection would be met with snide remarks and cruel jealousy.
